Okay, so this time I spent most of my time driving home, eating dinner, making the above video and getting my kids to bed. I need to sit down and really bust out some pages now. I hope you enjoy the vlog!

My tummy is happy.

I so needed that little laugh. I think your chicken feels a TAD neglected. I love your vlogs.

Okay, hitting it hard now.

I cannot tell you how much I loved your vlog! I started laughing when there was a chicken sitting on your lap!! You can't trust birds though--you never know what they are thinking :)

Your hammock looks like a fun place to read too!

You are such a cutie :-) I read Hugo Cabret last year and loved it, and I have American Born Chinese on my wishlist.

My youngest daughter is half-Vietnamese and loves all things Asian, so I'd love to get a copy of it and read it with her.

Loved your vlog :-) such fun!

LOL, really. Great video! I'm curious to read your thought on Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress, and of course on Hugo Cabret as well (that book seems to be everywhere)
Oh, and at 163 pages you think you have not read much??! :)
Happy reading!

Bethany! First of all, how great to hear your voice! Second of all, that chicken made me laugh out loud (hope that doesn't wake the kiddos). Finally, I am so impressed with all you have read! I love your vlog!!!

Keep up the good work!

That's an awesome vlog! Definite bright spot in what will be my last hour of (slightly unhinged) cheerleading until, well, a few hours from now. Wasn't expecting your chicken co-star! =D

Anywho- hope you're tearing up the pages right now (but not literally, that would be distressing). Keep up the great reading! =)

So. awesome.

"Get back to reading." lol

Awesome video! I love that a) you have a chicken on your lap and b) you're reading Anne's House of Dreams - I just pulled out my old Anne of Green Gables books the other day for a reread :)

I spent a whole year reading the series when I was ten or eleven, and adored them.

lol! That is brilliant :D

I loved American Born Chinese too! Dewey gave me my copy, actually, so it always reminds me of her.

That was so cool!! I love the chicken!!

Since I had to work all night (and spent the morning at soccer), the read-a-thon was not in my cards this time. But I wanted to stop by and say Hi! Glad to see you are still reading! Go Bethany!! (That's my little attempt at cheering).

Oh Bethany, that is the best vlog ever!!!!! The chickens.. you are just like my mom, you make me smile. :D

lol-That was great. I needed the laugh. Scared the dog though when the chickens started. It was hilarious. Hope you're still doing good with your reading.

If there was an award for coolest vlog, I'm sure you would get it (and more than likely you're the only one holding a chicken)! Very cool! - Stephanie
