Next I am going to read The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick! It looks so good. I have been trying o keep my hands off of it without a ton of luck. I love charcoal drawings :)

I need to go get some food now. And yes, I have busted out the chocolate and black licorice now. It is so hard to be inside right now when the sun is shining, keep in mind that I live in Oregon where the sun shines twice year.

The Hugo Cabret pictures are gorgeous, I have had it here to read for ages but still not got around to it.
I have used it at school though - a fantastic way to get non-readers interested in a book

I hope you are able to read outside and enjoy that sunshine! I'm not so much a fan of black licorice, but I love chocolate!

The best part is the money you're raising for charity. You rock!

You are doing AMAZING!! I'm not reading this year - just cheering - it's my first time to participate, so I thought I'd start out slow. But now I've been cheering for 4 hours, and it's been fun! Maybe next time...

But anyway - keep it up!!

You're doing awesome but then you always do-you did last year too. You must have great focus. Wow on the amount you've raised for charity already. I'll be donating whether I read as much as I should have either way. Anyhow, keep it up!
