Update #3: 2.5 books read :)

The image “http://storms.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/holidaysonice.gif” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Oh, David Sedaris Holidays On Ice is good. It is funny! I am half way through it now. I have read 3 of the 3 stories. I figure it is time to give you a page count, I have read: The Shiniest Jewel (176)+Beasts of No Nation (177)+ Holidays On Ice (about half, at page 80)=441 pages total after 8 hours of reading.

Personal Update: I need to go get me some food :) I am headed next door for Thai!!! I love Thai food. I need a little break, but just to eat and such. I have not gotten up since I arrived at the coffee shop 5 hours ago! Keep on keepen on for clean water!! :)

Thanks again to all the commenters, to all those marvelous cheerleaders, and to all my incredibly amazing sponsors!!! We are in this together, you are da bomb! (haha....I need a break)

I have now earned $ 77.50 for clean water worldwide!!!
Plus trish is adding in $5 for every book she finishes!! That brings the clean water total to:
$82.50 so far! (make sure you go cheer her on!!)

Where will the dinero ($) go? It will go to an organization I have become quite passionate about. I will be giving it to Living Water International an amazing organization funding the building of wells all over the world in developing nations.
(there is still time to sponsor me!!!)

I've never read any of David Sedaris's work, but I've heard he's hilarious. He is on my wish list. Well, not him - one of his books.

When I'm finished with my cheerleading duties, I'm going to plunge right into my Sedaris book. He's a good choice because laughing should help counteract any tiredness.

I was thinking about reading this one since it is so little, but I'm saving it for the holidays. Yummo about the Thai food!! Love it!

Sounds like the right book after that last one. Food is good but don't stuff yourself or you'll fall asleep. lol And keep drinking water. Believe it or not it's the number one reason people feel tired, not enough water in their systems. You are doing terrific. They'll be digging a well somewhere because of you by the time the read-a-thon is over.

I haven't read Sedaris either. It is probably a gap in my reading that I need to rectify! Something that makes you laugh sounds like a great choice for a read-a-thon book though!

Keep up the good work!
