B&b + ex libris

Here we are, (B) + (b) I was dinkin' around with my photo editor, and kinda liked the way this turned out :) What does ex libris mean? well wiki says:
Ex Libris is a Latin phrase, meaning literally, "from books." It is often used to indicate ownership of a book, as in from the books of... or from the library of'...'
I love it when people post pictures of their houses, mainly of their books in the context of their houses, so I decided to show you our living room :) It is lined in books!
This last time we moved I actually put them in alphabetical order by author, I love it, it makes things so easy and I like having a system. There is nothing worse than knowing you have a book that you really want to read, and you can't find where it is in the shelves!!!
Where are your books?? I'd love to see!!

Two things.

Thing one: Very cool photos. May I come to your house and read? Ha!What a wonderful place to live. Someday, when I don't have a 3 year old, I can do that. I would be shelving books all day.

Thing two: I did a Snoopy dance when I saw my book on your shelves.

:)

karen- yes it is there :) I am going to read and review it this month. I can't wait to see what all the Janeology uproar is about!!!

Oh, and I have a two and four year old, they learn quick to NEVER touch!! haha..sometimes they still do, but much less than I would have expected :)

Bethany, what a great post. Your living room looks so cozy and I am so gemming over all those books lined up so neatly. Mine are an absolute disaster. Once I get mine organized and shelved properly I will have to take some pics.

You know when I first started reading your blog I had looked up ex libris because I had remembered seeing it somewhere. Very cool name for your blog.

Thanks for sharing your pics with us! You've got a lot of books and I can't believe they are all alpha! When we first moved into our place mine were mostly alpha but since then it's gotten crazy again. I have bags of books that aren't even on the shelves yet. I'll be doing some holiday decorating the next few days so maybe I'll take a few pictures to post as well.

What a cozy, bookish living room! When I grow up (or um, when I grow up more successfully than I seem to be right now), I wanna have a cozy bookish living room like yours! =)
